Changing Our Stories to Manifest Better Outcomes

Many people fall into this trap, thinking and saying, “I’m not getting the results I want.” At the same time, we may be experiencing disappointment, frustration, confusion, self-doubt, or anger. Every thought and word carries energy, and it’s this energy that shapes our reality.

To manifest our desires, we must be mindful of what we think and say, including the stories we tell ourselves and others.

The Universe reflects back what we energetically put out in thought and emotion. For example, “I’m not getting the results I want” is sent out, recreating similar situations that generate the same thoughts and emotions. Our brains are hard-wired from years of repeating this pattern, so we easily fall back on it.

Here’s an example of how the cycle operates. We take a class, read a book, or watch a video and believe we are changed, expecting the results we wish for. If what we desire doesn’t manifest when we want it to, which is often today, this week, or this month, our hard-wired program will re-launch the same thoughts: “I’m not getting the results I want,” and the same negative emotions.

We then go round and round until we decide to break the pattern.

Here are some ways to change the pattern:

1)  Decide you will believe the Universe is creating what you want, even when you don’t see it yet.  As the famous metaphor describes, it’s like you planted a seed. The seed has created roots and sprouted but hasn’t yet grown out of the ground for you to see.

2)  You must become self-aware of your reactions and avoid returning to the same negative thoughts and emotions. Use this self-awareness to empower you to hold steady and believe that what you want is coming, placing you in control of your manifestation process.

Creating new patterns requires a strong desire to make changes so we can consistently stick to repeating new thoughts, emotions, and stories, allowing our brain to re-wire itself.  New stories include, “I know good things are coming to me,” “What I want is manifesting,” or “What’s coming is better than I could have imagined.”

As we shift our beliefs, emotional reactions, and stories, we will change our programming and improve our ability to manifest our desires.
